WHO IT’S FOR

OUR KIND OF CROWD

WHO IT’S FOR 2019-06-05T15:12:10-06:00

OUTDOOR PEOPLE

Environmentally conscious outdoor folk. People who ride bikes, kayak, canoe, surf, ski, snowboard, hike, rappel, rock climb, skateboard, trail run, kiteboard, windsurf, hammock, crotchet, grill, moto, sled, skydive, base jump, fish, hunt, scuba, scramble, disc, slackline, swim, snowshoe, ice climb, whitewater raft, and walk. People who want to tread lightly. People who want to upgrade from a ground tent, but don’t want to take a second mortgage out on a traditional travel trailer and truck to pull it.

“Keep close to Nature’s heart. . . and break clear away. Once in a while, climb a mountain, or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”

– JOHN MUIR

TYPES OF USERS

Simple, timeless, and elegant. Designed with minimalism, creature comforts, and basic necessities for the type of people we wouldn’t mind sharing a cold bevy around the campfire with.

CYCLIST

MOUNTAIN | ROAD | GRAVEL | FAT

Bikes, bikes, and more bikes. Room for spare wheelsets, tools, stands, pad sets, helmets, shoes, and hydration.  Bring the floor pump and more with a mobile basecamp even the pros would be jealous of. Whip up some pasta and get a great night’s rest before getting after it the next morning. Rubber side down.

CLIMBERS

ROCK | ICE | MOUNTAIN | BOULDER

Set up your own personal base camp. Ropes, cams, harnesses, dry bags, wall tents, slings, ascenders, descenders, crash pads all need a place to call home. Keep your gear organized, and ready for deployment with room to cook up some tofurky wrapped peppers.

SNOW

SKIS | BOARDS | SNOW BIKES | NORDIC

We all know the lodge can get super crowded and is often overpriced. The trailhead isn’t typically accommodating if you are cold and hungry. Park your own micro chateau in the lot and even bring the iron and wax should the conditions change. Snowed in? Avalanche close the road? No need to fear, just crash in the lot for the night and get the first chair in the a.m.

BOARDS

SURF | SKATE | KITE | SKIM | WIND

There is nothing quite like waking up to the sound of the swell crashing on the beach. No need to rush out the door and sit in traffic when you can park it on the beach and get after it first thing. Room for the longboard, shortboard, fishtail, wetsuit, drysuit, beach towels, umbrella, booties, and hood.

BOATS

KAYAKS | CANOES | ROW | PADDLE | RAFT

Bring the water gear with ample room for storage and separate dry compartment to put those wet PFD’s. When it’s blowing a full gale out, take shelter in the AntiShanty and wait for the storm and waves to subside. Or if your that guy, go out into them, with peace of mind knowing you’ve got somewhere warm and dry to return to.

UTILITY

MULTIPLE FUNCTIONS

The AntiShanty is just as functional when deployed as it is in tow mode. Use it as a utility trailer to move friends, a toy hauler to bring the motos with, a teardrop camper for quick camping while on the road, and even as an accessory dwelling when the inlaws are in town. Multiple uses reduce the number of things necessary to purchase and maintain.

PHOTOGRAPHY

FILM | DIGITAL | MOTION | STILL

Lenses, tripods, drones, lighting, and camera bodies can take up a fair amount of space. Getting out there typically requires a fair amount of gear as well. Bring along the editing studio, darkroom, and any other gear that will help you get the shot.

EXPLORE

WALK | HIKE | RUN | TOUR | ROAM

Venture out to new places in confidence that you have a warm, dry, and comfortable place to return to. If nature therapy is as simple as getting out into it for you, bring a second pair of boots, sandals, or go barefoot. Post up in your private space when the time for rest arrives.

CAMPERS

BASE | CABIN | CHATEAU | LODGE

Some people have concluded they aren’t the outdoor type, based off of one bad experience with a sub-par sleeping bag and pad in a poor quality ground tent. Get outside, roast some mallows over the fire, and shut and lock the door then stretch out onto your own queen size bed with ample living space for kicking back and relaxing.
