In 2019 I started looking for a smaller camper that could sleep 4 and be under 5k lbs. In my research I quickly became disappointed with the traditional brands. The build quality is just not there. This led me to look for a more rugged camper with no canvas. This is how I came to AntiShanty. In 2022 I brought home an AS1 Pro, and it perfectly fits our needs. It is so well designed and built. If you are looking for a small, rugged, customizable camper that sleeps 4 comfortably this is the best on the market. I have no doubt it will last me a lifetime. My family of 3 (+ a friend to make 4) and 2 dogs have loved it. Spent time in Tahoe, Lassen NP, Joshua Tree NP, Pismo beach and many more. It's a great conversation starter and I've given my share of tours. We have even used it in our driveway when we had many people staying at our house over the holidays. The kids loved it!.

I am a huge fan of the Antishanty products and the Antishanty team. I took delivery of my first Antishanty product – the AS-1 Pro – in 2020 and my second Antishanty product – the RR1 Limited – in 2023. All in I have over 40,000 miles towing and using one of these two trailers in all types of weather conditions – and I absolutely love them! In the summer of 2019, I started looking for a four-season trailer. My trailer requirements: • Provide comfort for 2-3 people in extreme weather conditions. • Easy to tow and maneuver on or off pavement. • Function off-grid for a minimum of 3 days. • Have zero systems that required winterization and no built-in fresh, grey or black water tanks. • No wood or canvas in the construction. • Easy to set-up and maintain. After an exhaustive review I found Antishanty. At first, I was skeptical about the Antishanty AS-1. I was worried about water leakage from the top hinge and that one of the outside roof panels could potentially bring dirt and condensation into the trailer when closed. After seeing the product, I was convinced these concerns were not problems. I decided to become an AntiShanty customer and have never looked back. While I owned the AS-1 Pro I never had a hinge leak, and I used a simple squeegee to wipe down the one outside panel before I closed the roof, therefore keeping any dirt and moisture from becoming an issue. The A-frame design along with the two queen beds made sleeping 3 or 4 people simple and comfortable. The choice of the marine grade diesel cooktop/heater was genius. The unit on its lowest setting kept me comfortably warm in single digit winter temperatures and was efficient. I only experienced three issues with my early production AS-1. My first issue was when I had a plastic roof brace break. Antishanty fixed it immediately, and the braces are now made of metal. My second problem was self-inflicted. I had a wheel bearing issue because I didn’t follow the required maintenance intervals. I was able to fix this in the field. My third issue was the room-style AC units that were in the early AS-1s. These units didn’t cool the trailer and have long since been replaced. With my F-150 I pulled the AS-1 coast-to-coast and from Mexico to Canada in all weather conditions. I used it as a camping trailer, a traveling hotel, and as a toy hauler. The AS-1 greatly exceeded my expectations in every scenario. So why did I sell my AS-1? The answer is simple. I found myself mostly traveling alone or with my wife, and we no longer had a need for the second queen berth. I was also constantly on the move during my trips, rarely staying more than one night in a single location. I got tired of having to deploy the A-frame daily. I was looking for a trailer that required virtually no set-up but maintained everything I loved about the AS-1 - exactly what the RR-1 offered. The RR-1 model has everything I need in a trailer. I arrive at my campsite; I put the awning out and I am done! I use the Joolca hot water to shower, clean dishes and rinse my gear. The cooktop and heater remain the same and the AC in this unit makes me comfortable in extreme temperatures. Since the RR-1 sits taller than the AS-1, my towing mileage has dropped by 2 mpg. However, that is a small price to pay to be able to walk upright end-to-end in a small trailer. With my purchase of the RR-1 Limited, the only upgrades I added were extra power plugs, Seasucker suction cup brackets to store items, and a Wrappon waterless toilet. Everything else is stock and works great. I have not had a single problem or regret with my RR-1 Limited. Not having to winterize the water tanks is a huge plus as well. In extreme cold I simply bring the water jugs inside from the driver side kitchen box and store them under my bed so they will not freeze. As of now, and after many, many days, and nights in Antishanty trailers, the only way I move on from my current Antishanty is when the innovative team at Antishanty comes out with the AS-2 or the RR-2 or something completely new that fits my needs. I can’t wait to see what’s coming!

We were intrigued by ANTISHANTY when we first saw an AS-1 online - primarily due to the versatility and build quality. Our thoughts were confirmed when we saw one in person at the NW Overland Expo - there’s nothing else like it! Along with the trailer quality, Taylor and the Antishanty team are first rate. We took a road trip from WA to UT and received great customer service with a complete walk through of our unit plus full towing setup… they genuinely care and it shows. We can attest that these are tough trailers… this past weekend we got caught in a severe thunderstorm with 60mph winds and heavy rain and our ANTISHANTY handled it like a champ. The first picture shows our 12ft PortaBote strapped to the side - we can pick a lake and head out with ease. If you’re on the fence just climb down and do it… our only regret is that we waited too long before we purchased.

We had been checking out AntiShanty’s videos for a while and knew they were something special, but were hesitant about the price. We spent a year looking around at other options and circled back to AntiShanty when we couldn’t find another off-road trailer like the RR-1 where you can actually stand up inside without any set-up. It’s also unique in that there is space to be able to cook indoors when it’s raining, and the AC actually cools for real. AntiShanty is a special company with great people, who build solid quality products. They listen to their customers, truly care about their customers, and are always seeking to be better and continue to innovate. Check them out, you won’t regret it!

Over the past few years my wife and I have entered the world of Overlanding. As we got more involved and were building our 2017 4Runner, we decided we needed an overlanding trailer for our adventures. We hit the Overland Expo in Longmont, CO in August 2021 and came across the AntiShanty. Rod took us through the AntiShanty, explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. Rod was great. We put a deposit down on our AS-1Pro shortly thereafter. Approximately a year later, we picked up our new toy in Logan, UT. Taylor took us through our AntiShanty and spent a couple of hours showing us how everything worked and provided a ton of tips to make our AntiShanty experience amazing. Taylor was awesome. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to answer all of our questions, which there were a lot. We cannot say enough about our AS-1. It is everything they promised and more. It is impeccably built and designed and provides the Overlanding experience we desired. There is plenty of room for all of gear including kayaks and mountain bikes. Easy setup, easy breakdown and a breeze to tow with our 4Runner. Could not ask for a better product and could not ask for a better group of people to work with either. Always very responsive and helpful. You know you purchased a great product when people come up to you to ask about it and believe me, we get tons of questions from other people about our AS-1. Cannot wait to get out there soon in 2024 and see where else we end up with our AntiShanty. Thank you to Rod, Taylor, and the rest of the crew for an amazing product and for helping us build some amazing memories. Jeff & Joy aka The Roamin’ Roosterlanders

Every time I prep our AS-1 Limited for a trip to the outdoors I get a silly grin on my face. The product is so innovative, versatile, and functional ... for such a compact package. The passion for getting outdoors really shines through every aspect of the design. Thoughtful design, quality manufacturing, and made in the USA. It is the true trifecta! The AntiShanty Team is also a great group of people to work with throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process. They listen patiently and answered every question I had. In the travel trailer segment, it is fairly commonly understood that every trailer is a compromise, of one form or another. Size, functionality, and price ... choose two. But for me any my family, the AS-1 Limited comes really close to "pefect" ... and has quality craftsmanship and made-in-the-USA credentials to boot! Sincerely recommended. If you open to considering travel trailer, and have an open mind about what you are thinking will ultimately work for you, then you should definitely take a look into the products AntiShanty offers.

We got our AS-1 Pro last Spring. It is amazing. Perfect for exploring the Pacific Northwest. Great customer service, the AS team is always available to answer questions. Colin and Taylor are fantastic and really great people. Very well constructed especially compared to other products on the market. Sleeps 4 humans and 3 dogs very comfortably. Tons of storage for gear, food, kayaks, bikes, or anything else you could possibly need camping. Every place we camp people come up to us and ask about it. Super easy to tow with our 4Runner. Takes 15 minutes to set up and breakdown. Can't wait to hit Glacier NP this summer with it.

I saw my first AntiShanty camper at an Overland Expo. It was the first camper that met ticked all the boxes of a very short list. I can pull it with my Tacoma - Check. I can take it off road - Check. I can haul my motorcycle in it - Check. I can get dressed standing up in it - Check. II love the modular inside. Two queen size beds or a bed and a picnic table. I like to work on things so I purchased the Base model so I could install my own, awnings, Heat, AC, Water, fridge and toilet. I install the first solar panel to the roof in a Walmart parking lot the day I picked it up. Taylor and the team are super helpful with custom requests. When I picked mine up, there were a couple options I decided I wanted that I hadn't ordered. They installed them on the spot to get me on my way. This camper is not a standard (disposal after 5 years) type camper. It's built to last. I love that I can hose it out if it gets dirty from the motorcycle. There's nothing to rust or rot. It's been 17 months, 12 states, 12 National Parks and countless laughs since I picked mine up in Logan, UT. I couldn't be happier with it.

After literally months of researching all types of ruggedized, off-road trailers I decided to put a deposit down on an AntiShanty AS-1 Limited. The experience from when I first made contact with the reps (I asked so many questions) to when I took delivery was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the team at AntiShanty. The trailer itself has been everything I hoped it would be. The materials are top notch and the build quality is outstanding, but what I love the most is it's versatility. The interior can be configured in different ways depending on the type of trip you're taking. Need to sleep the maximum number of people? Need a large bed and dedicated remote work space? Need a utility trailer to pick up that new sectional? No problem! Highly recommended.

LOVE our new AS-1 Pro. The buying process was super easy, the whole team is wonderful and extremely helpful with any and all questions. You won’t find a better adventure trailer or better company to work with to make your dreams come true. Can’t say enough good things about AntiShanty.
