Turn your existing SmartCap into a fully integrated, hard-sided truck camper. If you already run a SmartCap and want the stand-up space and four-season comfort of our DWELL SHELL, the SMARTCAP Conversion is your ultimate upgrade.

We take our legendary RTD (Roof Top Dwelling) and mount it directly to your truck's SmartCap using our custom-designed adapter plate. This precision-engineered plate ensures a rugged and sealed integration between the two systems, allowing us to create a seamless custom pass-through between the cap and the dwelling. This gives you the ability to stand up in your truck bed, easily access your gear from the inside, and climb directly up into your insulated, hard-sided shelter without stepping foot outside.

Hard-Sided and Insulated. Crafted from lightweight aluminum with zero fabric or wood to rot, this setup is built to handle rough terrain, harsh weather, and long miles without compromise. Just like our standard RTD, the upper dwelling doubles as secure cargo storage for your mattress, sleeping bags, and gear. Haul gear like a truck, camp like a cabin.
